Life Tips: Cover Your Fan with a Wet Sheet to Stay Cool!
This heat is ridiculous (at least on the West Coast)! I was burning up in my house, so I thought I would share this useful tip. If your looking for a cheap way to stay cool this season, try coving your fan with a wet cloth! Just wet a sheet with cold water and place it on the fan for a DIY air cooler. It has a much greater effect than the fan alone.
You can also try wetting your curtains with cold water so you get a nice cool breeze of air as the wind blows. If your trying not to revert to the air conditioner, these tips should help you last a bit longer.

Life Tips: Don’t Just Use Twitter, Utilize it!
Although twitter is a great way for you to tell your friends what color socks you’re wearing, it can also be one of the best news sources available to you. Twitter, in a sense, can be considered the central hub of the internet. Anything happening throughout the world gets posted onto twitter. When the earthquake hit the East Coast there were over 5,000,000 posts in two minutes.
Twitter has become one of my major sources of information. If you’re into style, then look up the “fashion” tab of twitter. The same goes for any other interests- art, technology, tv, phones ect. If you follow the right people, you can stay up to date on everything that is happening. For example, if you like technology, follow @engadget, @gizmodo, @lifehacker and so on. Then add people from other topics, such as local and national politics to get a broader scope of information. Check out the “who to follow” tab on your twitter homepage to find people to follow.
